New marker type for your maps

We have added animated arrows to the Map GL JS API library of the Map Tiles API - think of them as a personal beacon. Instead of showing "the entrance is somewhere here," they show "this exact door."

This new marker type lets you clearly highlight, right on the map in your app, the exact spot the user is looking for. Pair it with data from the Places API, which provides entrance information, and you get multiple ready-made use cases. An animated interactive marker grabs attention, clearly shows where to go, and needs no labels to be understood.

Couriers, guests, and patients no longer have to hunt for "that one door" - they just see it on the map. Drivers stop circling courtyards, couriers stop calling to ask "how to get to you?", and tourists stop wandering around the entrance. And it all comes down to a single line in the API. Parking and entrances for carsharing apps, parking aggregators, and others. The arrow points not to the center of the lot, but to a free entry barrier or a specific row. The arrow's blinking animation catches the driver's attention.

Loading and unloading zones for logistics and food delivery apps. A truck driver sees an arrow pointing to the unloading area instead of the main entrance. The arrow's pulsing animation helps them not to miss a narrow passage.

Courtyard routes for taxi, pizza delivery, and ambulance services. The animated arrow points to a passage between buildings, an archway, or a walkway that isn't visible from the main street, saving precious minutes.
