Solution overview
2GIS CityLens for server is a service for capturing and processing images that can run in your infrastructure.
Key solution features:
- Operation in a private network without constant internet access. Internet access is only required for a few utility services to get traffic data, license files, and installation artifacts.
- Ability to independently issue and revoke API keys to control access to products.
- Horizontal and vertical scaling.
- Ability to meet enhanced information security requirements and comply with regulatory standards.
- Building fault-tolerant solutions and high-load systems with demanding load and request processing speed (RPS) requirements.
Services run in a Kubernetes cluster: they are updated via Helm with no manual dependency configuration and run in multiple replicas to ensure fault tolerance, while Ingress balances incoming requests. Multi-level caching reduces request processing time.
2GIS CityLens allows you to:
- get an image in driving mode through the mobile app
- process images, detect incidents and classify them using a third-party AI Computer Vision engine
- analyze the results and make reports
To work with 2GIS CityLens, install the API Platform and 2GIS Pro.
