Release notes

Two MapGL JS API versions are available:

  1. (recommended) major version: https://mapgl.2gis.com/api/js/v1
  2. fixed version: https://mapgl.2gis.com/api/js/v1.78.0

The major version guarantees a stable API (breaking changes are introduced in the next major version). It is updated regularly with new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements.

The fixed version is not updated, so the support period is three months after the release of a new version. During the support period, the version is guaranteed to work. Use the fixed version only if you need Subresource Integrity (SRI) and update the version regularly.

  • Updated style expressions: now, kebab-case is used by default. Support for camelCase aliases is available for backward compatibility.
  • Added support for elevated wall segments (arches).
  • Fixed animation of material texture for glTF models.
