Configured layers for the Mobile SDK

To avoid setting up the display of objects on the map from scratch in the Style editor, use existing style layers. For example, if you need to customize metro icons, use layers from the Metro stations icons folder. See the detailed list of layers below.

Urban objects

To show city objects as icons, you can use layers with the Point type. Using these layers, you can customize the display of object icons in the default and selected states and their captions: size, text color, and other parameters.

3D objects

To display 3D objects, you can use layers with different types: Raised polygon, 3D model, and others. Using these layers, you can customize the fill color of sides of a 3D object, its height, near camera fade, and other parameters.

Caption settings for 3D objects (size, text color, and other parameters) are specified in separate layers with the Point type.

Roads and transport objects

To display traffic jams, you can use a layer with the Displaced line type. To display roads and streets depending on their class and type, you can use layers with the Line, Stripe, and Line of arrows types. Using these layers, you can customize the fill color, line width, and other parameters.

Caption settings for lines (size, text color, and other parameters) are specified in separate layers with the Line caption type.

For some transport objects (railway platforms, traffic lights, and others), you can use layers with other types, e.g. Point and Polygon.

Geographic objects

To customize the captions (size, text color, and other parameters) of geographic objects on the world map, you can use layers with the Point type. Using these layers, you can customize the display of object icons in the default and selected states, if necessary.

To customize the color of water bodies, natural zones, and hillshade, you can use layers with the Polygon type.
