Point

The Point display method is useful when you need to show individual elements and preserve their individuality at the same time. Elements on the map are not aggregated and not collected into clusters on a large scale.

Point

To choose a display method:

  1. Go to the Dashboards tab.
  2. Select the required dashboard.
  3. Click Layers icon.
  4. Select the required layer.
  5. In General settings, select the Point display method.
  6. Set the remaining visualization parameters if necessary.

The data is visualized on the map.

For the Point display method, the following parameters are available:

  • Radius: radius of a point on the map. Select one of the possible options:

    • Radius basis: parameter based on which radius is built. The available values depend on the selected data.
    • Radius: radius of the element in px from 1 to 20.

To reset the parameter, click Cross icon next to the parameter name.

  • Icon: selecting an icon for displaying points on the map.

To reset the parameter, click Cross icon next to the parameter name.

  • Outline: enable to display an outline around the points or icons.

    • Outline color: selecting an outline color on the color palette or in HEX format.
    • Stroke width: stroke width in px from 1 to 25.
  • Color: selecting the color of the data display. Two ways to color elements on the map are available.

    • Color basis: parameter based on which the elements on the map are colored according to the Color scale (a set of prepared color samples). The available values depend on the selected data.

To reset the parameter, click Cross icon next to the parameter name.

      • Invert: select to invert the selected color scale.
      • Steps: gradation of the color scale from 1 to 10. Available only if a numeric attribute is set for Color basis.
      • Legend: symbols for color and data.
      • Type of scale: Linear — displays values of the same order; Logarithmic — displays a wide range of values, when the values may differ by several orders of magnitude.
      • Opacity: setting an opacity of the elements on the map.
    • If the Color basis is not selected, then the color palette with the ability to specify any color in HEX format is available. The elements on the map are colored the same.

      • Opacity: setting an opacity of the elements on the map.
