Public transport stops

The Public transport stops data category provides information about public transport stops and metro stations with selected filters. It helps to research the number of stops and metro stations near a business location, build proximity zones from them, etc. The data is updated every week.

Public transport stops

To get started:

  1. Go to the Main or Data tab.
  2. Select the Public transport stops data category.
  3. In the Geofilter settings dialog, select up to 50 territories for which the data sample is created. You can use standard and custom territories, and also build proximity zones and circles on the map. For more information, see the Geofilters section. After you select the territories, click Done.
  4. On the Filters tab, set the remaining filters if necessary.

The data is visualized on the map as centroid points: the centers of the object geometries. Filtering results are available in two variants:

  • Statistics: general statistics about the sample. Include:

    • Total count of stops.
    • Average count of routes passing through stops.
  • Results: general information about stops and their list. When selecting a stop from the list:

    • Information about the stop is displayed in the card.
    • The location of the stop is indicated on the map.

You can manually change the list of filtering results to keep only selected stops in the data sample. Click Edit list, select the required stops, and click Apply.

To save this data sample and customize its visualization (e.g., as a heatmap), click Create layer.

For the Public transport stops category, the following filters are available:

  • Category: Stations (all types of stops; for metro - stations entrances and exits) or Metro stations (one metro station per one point). You can select both types.
  • Number of routes: total count of routes passing through a public transport stop.
  • Transport group: Ground transport (ground transport stops), Metro (station entrances and exits), or Rail transport (suburban railway stations). Available only for the Stations category.
  • Type of transport: Bus, Tram, Metro, Monorail, or Water transport. Available only for the Stations category.

To reset the parameter filter, click Cross icon next to the filter name. To reset all parameter filters, click Reset filters at the bottom of the tab.

To hide the filter by territory, in the Geofilter settings dialog, click Eye icon next to the geofilter name. To delete the geofilter, click Cross icon next to its name. To delete all geofilters, click Clear filters.
